Mother of Pearl is not a natural gemstone but it is a natural product of most mollusks, they secrete nacre which when hardened on the interior of their shell turns into the beautiful iridescent Mother of Pearl. This organic medium is said to instill providence, serenity, increase an individuals capabilities and change negative energy.
